Description

• Set of personalized, washable satin fold‑over labels

• Each label measures 1.5” x 1.5” when sewn in (3.75” x 1.5” before folding)

• Printed with black permanent wash‑safe resin ink

• Labels come precut and ready to use

Cut edges must be sewn into a seam or turned under to prevent unravelling

Details

FOLDED TAG: Double-sided satin label personalized with your text, folded to 1.5” x 1.5” (not including 3/8" seam allowance).

MATERIAL: White satin ribbon, 1.5” wide. The top and bottom edges are unfinished and must be enclosed in a seam. Side edges are finished.

PRINTING: Permanent black resin ink (no colour or greyscale).

CARE: Machine wash and dry. Avoid bleach, OxiClean, or harsh cleansers.

How to Order
  1. Choose your attachment type using the options provided (see the attachment descriptions above if you need help deciding).

  2. Enter your personalization in the “Your Text Here” boxes. You can adjust the font and font size to get your labels just the way you want them. Type “blank” if you want a line left empty.

  3. Design Adjustments: The personalizer does not allow vertical movement of text lines. If you’d like a designer to fine-tune spacing or alignment, we’re happy to adjust your design for you. See the section below for full details on adjustment options.

  4.  Add your order to the cart: If you have any special requests, feel free to leave them in the “Notes to Seller” box at checkout.
Design Adjustments

1. If your design looks exactly how you want it, choose Option 1, and we will print it as shown in your preview.

2. If you’d like a designer to clean up the spacing or sizing and send it straight to production, choose Option 2. No proof will be emailed, but we will make small adjustments to ensure your label prints beautifully.

3. If you prefer to review a proof before we print, choose Option 3. We’ll adjust your design and email you a proof for approval. Please note this adds about 2 extra days to production time, plus any additional time needed for your feedback and approval.

Production and Shipping

LABEL PRODUCTION:

Please allow 2–4 business days for your labels to be made after your order is placed, plus any additional time needed for proofing (if requested).

SHIPPING:

Orders ship from either Port Huron, Michigan (USA) or Sarnia, Ontario (Canada), depending on the destination.

Estimated shipping times and costs:

  • USA: 3–7 business days, tracked via USPS. Shipping starts at $6 USD.
  • Canada: 5–7 business days, untracked via Canada Post. Shipping is $2.50 USD.
  • International: 10–25 business days, tracked via Canada Post. Shipping is $22.50 USD.

Ben a 15-year-old found himself chained to a wall in a dungeon. His job was to carry coal around the towners to rich prisoners. Princess Elizabeth was thrown into the traitor's tower by her evil sister Queen Mary. He had to try and help save her, now he is a prisoner. The adventure starts, will Ben get out? How will he ever get out? will the princess be saved? Every page is filled with suspense. I loved the history lesson at the end of the book, filled with so much information.

A Tudor Tale of Derring-Do for Children
Format: Kindle
Ben Forrester sees a young woman being dragged into the Tower of London and despite the good advice of his friend, Tim and it being a seemingly impossible task, he sets out to rescue her. On the way, there are messages written in invisible ink, a princess dressed as a coal boy - a coal boy dressed as a princess - dungeons with rats and a lot of adventure. This is an exciting and well-written tale for children, set in the reign of Mary Tudor in the violent and cruel days of the sixteenth century. It has a lot in it to acquaint a reader with life and society at the time and gives a (highly distorted) sketch of the political events of the time. My one big complaint as a historian is the biased perspective of this book which reinforces many popular myths and misconceptions about both Mary and Elizabeth. As this book might be the first (and for some children maybe the only) experience they have of the period it seems to me tragic that it does so. To read it you would think Elizabeth was perfect and Mary pure evil. We are told of Mary's burnings but not why they happened or of Elizabeth's subsequent persecutions and none of it is placed in context. This is a black and white version of history which is horribly inaccurate because it is so, and misleads another generation to despise the woman who was England's first true Queen and who overcame so many challenges including those of politics, religion and rabid misogyny to rule in her own right. I love the irony that we find out in the historical notes at the back that the story of Ben's escape was based on the real-life escape of a man imprisoned there by Elizabeth on account of his beliefs... So whilst I can applaud this as a good, immersive, book to help a child learn about the social history of the time, I would hesitate to recommend it because of the way it reinforces the ignorant bias of popular history over the truth.
